PARADE

Randy arrange with various Fire Departments to participate in an Opening Parade from Cane Bay Boulevard North to the Cane Bay HS field section identified on the Aerial MAP (Attached).  This must be well coordinated as Vendors will be entering earlier on the same Cane Bay HS property road.  Vendors begin entering at 8:00am to 12:00pm and leave from 5:00pm-6:00pm.  (Shirley to obtain a Berkeley County Parade Permit)

PUBLICITY

Fire Fighter Combat Channel was suggested by Randy.  Shirley noted that we have a volunteer who uploads announcements onto various Facebook accounts.

Randy offered a contact for Press Releases – Colt Ray - Public Information Officer

Fulltime Weapons and Photography -843-200-54-93.

Richard took Randy through the firehouseatcanebay.org website so he has insight into the history and current status of the program.

THE RUSTY MUFFIN

The Rusty Muffin, 176 Status road between Cane Bay Plantation and Sheep Head Road, would like us to have a Fire Truck or Command Vehicle in their front Parking Lot.

They will advertise on their website and provide 10% of both Beverages and Edible’s sales income on a Saturday between – 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.  Randy suggested Shirley call Pine Ridge Fire Department first as The Rusty Muffin is in Pine Ridge District.  If they cannot, Shirley is to call Randy and see if they can have a volunteer bring a truck or Command Vehicle.

Randy mentioned:

Berkeley County is mandated to provide Fire – EMT – Sheriff, but not mandated as to what service level should be.
